Keeping your car clean … diy style
If you are like us, (detailers) you love to clean. It is a therapy of sorts for many of us. We believe if you are going to do it, do it correctly. This means don’t drive through another car wash if you want your paint to look its best.
We recommend a few basics if you are going to maintain your vehicle yourself:
- Washing your vehicle using the 2-3 bucket method. Many only recommend the two bucket method, I like to use a third bucket. This third bucket is dedicated to your wheels and tire cleaning. (One of the dirtiest areas of your vehicle)
- Using a great soap
- A microfiber mit
- A microfiber towel for drying
- Great products to make the entire process easier
- A mist detail spray to add that little extra shimmer and shine at the end
- The perfect towel and glass cleaner (What difference does it make, if your whole car is clean and your glass is all smudged up?)
